Analysis of ORACLE 10 Gb full uninstallation in Windows

Fully uninstall ORACLE in Windows: You can use OUI to uninstall the database. However, after uninstalling the database, there will still be some residues in the Registry and file system. These residues not only occupy disk space, but also affect ORACLE reinstallation and system performance.

To uninstall ORACLE 10 Gb in WINDOWS, perform the following steps: 1. Delete Cluster Synchronization Services ). How to completely uninstall Oracle10G in windows

Delete all keys starting with oracle in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/MenuOrder/StartMenu/Proguams.

Some registry entries may have been deleted when oracle is uninstalled.
Delete the PATH and CLASSPATH in the environment variables that contain Oracle values. Choose "start"> "Settings"> "Control Panel"> "system"> "advanced"> "environment variable" to delete Oracle settings in the environment variables CLASSPATH and PATH.
Delete all Oracle groups and icons in Start/program.
Delete all oracle-related directories, including:
C: \ program files \ oracle directory

Delete Oracle-related files, select the default Oracle directory C: \ Oracle, delete the input directory and all subdirectories, and delete the following ORACLE files from C: \ WINDOWS.
