This article describes how to configure the Android Application development environment. There are two types of Android development environments: Windows development, Linux development, and IOS development. This section describes how to configure the Android development environment in Ubuntu. I came into contact with Ubuntu three years ago. At that time, CentOS and Redhat were both used, but I had a special liking for it. Because he is concise, stable, and used by many people, there will naturally be more tutorials and it is easy to learn.

1. Android Development Environment configuration on Windows
For more information, click the link. The link is already clear ~ Please note that in Eclipse, you must configure the development code, it is recommended to use UTF-8, the default GBK format in Ubuntu will be garbled, if it is other related to character processing, garbled characters may also exist.

2. Configure the Android Development Environment www.2cto.com in Ubuntu
(1) The first step is to install the Virtual Machine and UBUNTU system. In addition to this method, you can also install Win7 and Ubuntu dual systems. I installed Ubuntu10.10-64 bit (whether the master system is 32-bit or 64-bit, the system can be installed on both 32-bit and 64-bit virtual machines)

(2) install JDK. JDK 6 is recommended after Android and JDK 5 is used before Android because it will be used in Android OS compilation later. Download the corresponding JDK (JDK 6) based on system attributes ). After installation, you must configure the environment variables. You can add the environment variables to/etc/profile ,~ /. Bashrc,/etc/bashrc. The specific statement is as follows:

[Plain]
<SPAN style = "FONT-SIZE: 16px"> export JAVA_HOME =/home/yourname/bin/jdk1.6.0 _ 31
Export PATH = $ JAVA_HOME/bin: $ PATH
Export CLASSPATH =.: $ JAVA_HOME/lib/dt. jar: $ JAVA_HOME/lib/tools. jar </SPAN>

Export JAVA_HOME =/home/yourname/bin/jdk1.6.0 _ 31
Export PATH = $ JAVA_HOME/bin: $ PATH
Export CLASSPATH =.: $ JAVA_HOME/lib/dt. jar: $ JAVA_HOME/lib/tools. jar
(3) download Eclipse and decompress it. Use the "Help -- install new software" function of Eclipse to install ADT. The installation method is the same as that of Windows.

(4) download the Android SDK and set Environment Variables

(5) The application development environment is ready at this step. If you do not want to use Eclipse due to system configuration or other reasons, you can use Eclim + Vim for development. There is such an article on the Internet, if you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them.

It is said to be the development of Android applications. Many children's shoes may only build such a simple development environment, but I hope to see more Android source code for learning. It can compile JNI, call hidden APIs, write applications with system permissions, and other special applications. This requires downloading the Android system source code. The download and compilation of the Android system source code has been introduced in many articles on the Internet, but I do not recommend reading it, but refer to the official documents, because this is the most convincing, original, and correct method. Similarly, if you have any questions, please leave a message for discussion!
