Android forgot to unlock Password

This article is based on the network. I have been using the first method. I have never tried anything else.

Method 1: ADB unlock click to download the ADB unlock tool
Required: the USB debugging mode is enabled (the miui system is enabled by default)
1. Connect your mobile phone to your computer, and confirm that the ADB driver is installed (method:). decompress the ADB toolkit to drive C.
2. Open CMD and enter cd c: \ ADB (open the directory where ADB is located)
3. Enter ADB Shell
4. Continue entering CD Data \ System
5. Enter ls to view the files in data \ system. If the password is set, there will be gesture. Key or password. Key.
6. If the password is set as a pattern, enter the command RM gesture. Key. If the password is set as a simple password, enter the command RM password. Key.
7. Enter the reboot command or manually restart the mobile phone to take effect. Alternatively, you can directly slide and unlock any password. We recommend that you restart it. (For example)

Method 2: unlock a Google account
Prerequisites: You have set and logged on to the Google account before the locked machine. The account and password are known and the mobile phone can be connected to the Internet.
1. Enter the password five times at will. The system prompts that the password is incorrect for five times. Try again after 30 s;
2. At this time, the "forgot password" prompt will be displayed at the bottom of the unlock interface. Click Enter the previously set Google account and password to unlock immediately.

Method 3: clear data and unlock
Advantage: no restrictions, applicable to users without important materials.
1. When the instance is shut down, press and hold the host key + volume plus key to go to recovery.
2. Select "simplified Chinese"> "Clear Data"> "Clear user data", and restart to enter the system. This operation only deletes user data, and the software is retained.

1. Set up a Google account for online verification
If you set a Google account, there is no "forgot password" option on the unlock interface. A prompt is displayed only after five failed attempts. Click and enter the account password to clear the lock screen password, if the mobile phone is not connected to the Internet, you cannot log in and unlock it.
If you do not click "forgot password" and enter the password 20 times in a row by mistake, the logon interface will pop up automatically. At this time, you only need to log on to the Google account to unlock it immediately. After the restart, the logon interface will continue, for example, login account, the logon password is also cleared.
2. Test without a Google account
If you do not enter the "forgot password" icon after five consecutive error attempts, you can enter the "forgot password" icon until 25 consecutive attempts. The error message is displayed for 30 seconds and then you can try again.
[Summary and experiences]
1. Method 1: Enable USB debugging and the mobile phone has the root permission. Method 2: Set a known Google account and connect the mobile phone to the Internet. Method 3 is not required, but is a brute force unlock.
2. Back up important information on a regular basis to prevent various accidents. Set the lock screen password and disable USB debugging to prevent others from using the above methods to crack the password and steal personal information; be sure to set a synchronous Google account on the local machine and enable the network at the same time.
