Some Android phones under Mac OS x execute ADB shell hint device not found, refer to the online workaround, take Samsung S3 as an example to detail the method below.
Terminal command Line Input:
#system_profiler spusbdatatypeusb:usb hi-speed Bus: host controller location:built-in USB host Controller DRIVER:APPLEUSBEHCI PCI Device id:0x0d9d PCI Revision id:0x00a2 PCI Vendor id:0x10de Bus number:0x24< C6/>samsung_android: Product id:0x6860 Vendor id:0x04e8 (SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd.) version:4.00 Serial number:4df1833b07dd5f1f speed:up to 480 mb/sec Manufacturer:samsung Location ID:0X24100000/3 current Available (MA): Required (MA): 96
From the USB list after the command executes, locate the Samsung S3 Vendor ID (0x04e8) added to the ~/.android/adb_usb.ini file.
Then execute the following command in turn:
#adb kill-server#adb Start-server
The Vendor ID in the above can also be found in the Mac OS in the upper left corner of the Apple icon--about the system reports----Hardware->USB Find the S3-related USB interface and view the vendor ID (Vendor ID) and then do the same.
