Preface

I haven't developed Android for a while. Recently, the company has taken over an android project. Since there have been errors in updating android with eclipse before, take this opportunity to reinstall the SDK and eclipse.

The installation was successful, but an error occurred while planning to add the original project!

Error

Android requires compiler compliance level 5.0. Please fix project properties. Error. This is the case with several projects added. It is quite depressing that it cannot be used to clear or re-build the project. You have no choice but to ask Google. We are very lucky to find a solution:

First, clean up the project, and then follow the steps below:

1.ProjectRight-click and choose>Android tools->Fix Project

2.If not, checkProject->Properties->Java compiler 

Verify that JDK compliance is set1.6AndEnable specific seetings.

After these two steps, the problem is basically solved.

Another eeror

After updating the android SDK, you will often encounter an error such as "sdk manager: failed to install" and "tools can't write" that means the tools file cannot be written. Later, with the help of Google's great god, I found a blog post for Daniel. The following describes a solution:

If "sdk manager: failed to install" is prompted during the installation process, do not rush. Quit first and then
1.import the tempfile folder of sdkand download tools_r06-windows.zip (the name may be different)
2. Unzip this file and the tools_r06-windows folder appears
3. Enter and copy all the files in the tools_r06-windows and overwrite the files in the tools folder in the SDK root directory
