These few icons you should have not seen, I come briefly to introduce you under. The leftmost icon you are already familiar with, is the Android SDK Manager you used before bedtime, click on it and click the SDK Manager effect is the same. The middle icon is used to open the Android emulator, if you do not have an Android phone, the development must use the simulator. The rightmost icon is for code checking, and you won't be using it for the time being.
Well, let's do it now. Start a simulator to see the effect, click the middle icon will pop up 1.6 of the window shown.
Then click New on the right to create a new emulator. Here we are going to create an Android 4.0 system simulator, so the simulator name is called 4.0 OK, device here I chose a 3.2-inch screen of the phone, the target is designated as Android 4.0, and then a little bit to allocate the phone memory and SD card size, you can click OK, As shown in 1.7.
Once created, we select the emulator you just created, then click Start and click Launch in the pop-up to launch the emulator. The simulator will be like a mobile phone, there is a boot process, starting after the completion of interface 1.8 is shown.
The very clean Android interface comes out! It looks pretty good, you can almost use it like a mobile phone, Android simulator is very high imitation of mobile phone, go to experience it.
The right side of the simulator is a keyboard area where four keys are important, from left to right in the Home key, the menu key, the back key, and the search key. Home button allows you to go back to the desktop at any time, the menu key is used to display menus in the program interface, the back button is used to return to the previous interface, and the search key makes it easier for you to use Google search.
