Annoyed at Cherry Culture !!!

Q: I wasn't sure where to post this, but I'm sooo annoyed right now. A couple weeks ago I placed an order with cherryculture.com to take advantage of their sale. I ordered 3 NYX Candy glitter liners. one of them was the shade "lime green ". on the website the swatch shows it as a dark, almost emerald green color.

I thought that the name "lime," was a weird thing to call such a dark color, but thought nothing of it since I also have a turquoise glitter liner from them called "jade ". anyway, after anxiously awaiting my order I get it today. I opened the package and was suprised to see that the color I got was waaaay lighter. in fact even lighter than the hot green color I already have>

Thinking they must have mislabeled the product and sent me another shade by accident, I emailed them. I got a response back which basically said "We try to post swatches as accurate to the color as possible, but basically sometimes they show up differently. you can exchange it if you 'd like ". which means that I have to spend my money to ship back a product which was misrepresented! All of the other liners I have ordered from them have been very true to the swatches on their website. I know that it's not a lot of money to send it back but its PRINCIPLE of the matter that bothers me. the fact that they're not willing to acknowledge that their website and/or product is mislabeled. grrr! Random Tip: Care for LipsA: That sucks... sorry. a: Tell them you are keeping the liner because they sent you the wrong one and have them ship you a new one free of charge. if you complain enough, it will happen! Good luck lady! A: I emailed them back and let them know that their website is wrong basically, and that I 'd like to think none of their other products are misrepresented because I love ordering from them so much. we'll see what they do if anything. I shoshould probably just let it go because it's like less than $5, but I get emotional about my makeup I guess lol. I feel better now that I 've told you guys about it. ran Dom Tip: Whats your hairstyle? How do you use them? A: Tell them you are a member of MuT and if they don't fix their error you are going to run their name through the mud. HAHA! A: I think it's mostly the NYX color swatches that are really off ~ They look completely different from the actual nyx website and the swatches on cherryculture. it bugs me <_ <; I 've ordered lip colors from cherryculture and the colors are almost never correct. but o well they're only like 99 cents anywayPrevious: Who Taught How Do You Do Makeup?
