Several times of ThinkPad removal, we found that the GPU and bridge are at the end of the radiator, and the heat dissipation effect will certainly be greatly discounted. Secondly, we found that the bottom of the ThinkPad keyboard is metal (conducive to heat conduction ), it is said that ThinkPad has the function of Heat Dissipation through the keyboard, but it cannot be seen that there are devices that heat the keyboard.

 

After the ThinkPad fan was replaced last time, he vowed to find a cooling method, mainly through two aspects: 1. software; 2. Hardware.

Software Method:

Pipeline is not doing very well, and I feel that the feasibility is not very high.

 

Hardware method:

After changing thinkpads, fancontrol.exe found that most of the fans were started because the GPU temperature increased.

Therefore, it is the best choice to distribute the GPU temperature.

Usually, you need to carefully understand the temperature of the keyboard. The temperature of the keyboard is not high, and the temperature at the bottom is generally high. Maybe most of the bottom is on the desktop, knee, or bed cup, poor heat dissipation results in this result.

I decided to import the heat to the keyboard, so I bought the silica gel for CPU cooling, but the radiator is still a little away from the keyboard. So I looked for the aluminum plate and wanted to use the aluminum plate to pad it in the middle, as the adhesive body of silica gel, looking for a long time, did not find the appropriate, almost gave up.

One day I saw several bad hard disks from my friends, one of which was a laptop hard disk. I suddenly found that this shell should be usable, So I split my laptop and keyboard, using a laptop hard drive shell, I found that there are several locations slightly larger than a few millimeters, plus the edge height, some places are high, these are easy to do, use the oblique pliers, slowly cut off the large part, after all, it is not a professional fitter. During the cutting process, we should try our best to figure out a shape that can be fixed by the radiator without moving horizontally and vertically. After that, we should put the silica gel on it, keep the radiator, laptop hard drive surgery, keyboard can stick to, and the location is relatively high.

It has been used for more than ten days. It is obvious that the noise of the fan is not as disturbing as before. It is obvious that the temperature of the whole machine has dropped. However, the temperature of the keyboard has increased slightly. At present, it is quite acceptable, it is not clear whether it will be acceptable after summer.
