ANSYS17.0 Detailed Installation Graphics tutorial

Ansys 17.0 is the latest version of Ansys. The installation process of the software is described in detail below.

1 Pre-Installation Preparation

Before you install, you need to do the preparatory work:

• Free up 30G of space on your hard drive. (depending on how many modules are installed, a full installation may require more than 20 g of hard disk space.) ）
• Preparation of the installation package. (It's easy to find it by surfing the internet)
• Virtual optical drive software. (select item, WIN8 above the operating system does not need)

The installation package may look like the following. (DVD1 and DVD2 for installation files, Pdf_docs for help documents, first folder for cracked files)

Usually only DVD1 and DVD2 two ISO files are required.

Available virtual optical drive software load, WIN8 above operating system can directly select the file right-click Open With Explorer. I'll open it with a virtual CD drive. As shown in.

2.2 Installation Prerequisites Package

• Detection Prerequisites Package
  Mouse Double-click the PreReqCheck.exe file to eject the detected results as shown. Depending on the software already installed in the system, the information that pops up may be different.

• Installation Prerequisites Package
  Mouse Double-click the InstallPreReqs.exe file . The software automatically installs missing files in the current system. The dialog box appears as shown when the installation is complete.
  
  Click the OK button to close the dialog box.

2.3 Installing the Ansys Master file

Right click on file setup.exe, select "Run as Administrator" to install Ansys.

It is recommended to install as an administrator.

• Step 1: Choose Install ANSYS Products
  
• Step 2: Select option I AGREE, select the arrow on the right, as shown in.
  

• Step 3: Set up instll Directorywith no Chinese in the path. (Chinese path is sometimes problematic, but not necessarily a problem, with the operating system, for just in case, it is recommended to use the full English path)
  
  Click the arrow on the right to continue.

• Step 4: Set the Hostnameas shown in.
  Enter the computer name. (In fact, this step is not important)
  
  Click the arrow on the right to continue.

• Step 5: Select the module you want to install, as shown in.
  
  Click the right arrow to continue to the next step.

• Step 6: Configure how CAD files are read. You can use the default, or you can tick the skip option below and then configure it, with the default settings.
  
  Click the right arrow to continue to the next step.

• * * Step 7**: Do not set, click the arrow next
  

• Step 8: Enter the interface, long waiting. Depending on the performance of the computer, installation takes half an hour or more.
  
  Midway will appear as shown in the dialog box, at which time load DVD2, and specify the path of DVD2 loading , click OK button to continue.
  
  The dialog box appears, indicating that the installation is complete!
  
  Click the arrow to continue and click the Exit button in the dialog box to complete the installation.
  

3 software hack

The software hack is simple and there are two ways of doing it:

• Install license server, build the license file, and configure the server. (This approach is complex)
• Do not install license server, using the license file in the cracked folder (this method is very simple, this time using this hack method)

The native Ansys is installed on the D-Drive

• unzip the cracked file Solidsquad.rar, copy the contents of the crack with local license (a shared Files folder) in the folder (server Setup is not needed) * *
• Paste the copied folder into the D/program Files/ansys inc/folder, overwriting the file with the same name
• Open the Ansyslmd.ini file under the D:\Program Files\ansys inc\shared files\licensing folder
• Modify the Ansyslmd.ini file as shown in. Change the file path after lickeyfil to the license placement path on the cost machine.
