Get APK Package Signature Information

to ensure that each application developer is legally ID security, to prevent some developers from using the same package name to confuse and replace the installed programs, developers need to publish the APK file unique signature, to ensure that the application version of each release consistency (if automatically updated, will not be installed because of inconsistent version).

Operation steps:

1. Download the getsign.apk, click Get Tool, and install on the phone.

2. Install the APK to get information

3. Run the tool and enter the package name, where the package name must be the package name of the APK that is already installed on the phone, otherwise it will fail. After you enter the package name, click Get to get the appropriate information.

When you package online, you select the Appcan the certificate, the APK signature is the default signature, and the default (MD5 value) is: D382d671c6672cba4b87980992cd9d77.

Precautions :

① the same certificate, if the package name is not the same, the installation will appear two different applications.

② the same application, the package name, if different certificates are used, the installation cannot be overwritten on the same device.

③ when developing a project using the Appcan platform, regardless of Android and iOS apps, you need to use your own certificate as a formal release or commercial, Appcan the default certificate is for testing purposes only.

Android app certificates can be generated from third-party tools or can be packaged online using the Appcan platform one-click Create Certificate feature. the generated certificate must be downloaded self-saved as he used, once lost cannot be retrieved . The iOS certificate will go to Apple's official application by itself .
