Create

Fireworks MX 2004 offers a number of styles that we can use to quickly produce beautiful buttons, text, and images. These styles are actually a series of preset combinations of fills, strokes, and effects. If we want to use a style, just open the style panel, select the object, and then choose the style panel style to add a style to the object. It's very simple to use. Here we are familiar with the use of styles.
　　
One, style panel
　　
By clicking the Window menu and choosing the Style menu, we can open the Styles panel, which by default is integrated into the assets panel with the new Shapes panel of the URL Panel and library panel and fireworks MX 2004, as shown in Figure 1. You can also press the SHIFT+F11 shortcut key to open the style panel.

Click on the button in the upper-left corner of the panel and we can also open the pop-up menu as shown in Figure 2. With this menu we can create new styles, edit styles, delete styles, import and export styles, and reset styles. Select the "Large Icons" (Large icon) menu We can also display these styles with the effect of large icons.

　　Second, the application style
　　
Applying a style is simple, just select the object, and then click the style you want to apply in the Styles panel, as shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4, which is the result of using a partial style for the text and beveled rectangles.

　Three, new and delete styles

Click the button at the bottom of the Styles panel or select New Style in the pop-up menu shown in Figure 2, and the dialog box shown in Figure 5 appears.

Enter the style name, select the property you want in the attribute, and then click the OK button, and the new style is added to the style panel, as shown in Figure 6.

Select the style you want to delete in the style panel, and click the Delete Style button at the bottom of the style panel to remove the style. You can also delete a style by selecting Delete Styles in the pop-up menu shown in Figure 2.

Double-click the style you want to edit in the Styles panel, or choose Edit Style in the pop-up menu shown in Figure 2, where you can edit the style by setting the style properties in the Edit Styles dialog box shown in Figure 7.

　　V. Export and import of styles

The style file has a suffix named. STL, which we can download to a variety of styles on the Macromedia Company website. In Fireworks MX 2004, the style file is typically placed under the "a" >> "Styles" folder, and we can also put the downloaded style file in it.

If we're going to export a style, just select this style and select Export Styles in the pop-up menu shown in Figure 2, and if we have downloaded the style on the machine, just select "Import Styles" in the pop-up menu shown in Figure 2, and jump out of the dialog shown in Figure 8, Select a style file. This new style appears in the style panel, as shown in Figure 9.
