It is very important to know about vro settings. Many people may not know how to use vro settings to make online games smoother. After reading this article, you will surely have a lot of GAINS, I hope this article will teach you more things. Shared Internet access through a Broadband Router has become the first choice for most organizations. Each workstation that accesses the Internet through this method is already in the intranet.

In this Intranet environment, we often find that online games cannot be played at all. Even if we are barely able to play, we can obviously feel that it is not smooth. Why, how can we smoothly play online games in the Intranet environment? Here, this article will help you better play online games from the perspective of vro settings!

In the Intranet environment where broadband Internet access is shared, why do workstation games cannot be played normally or smoothly? In fact, in most cases, online games require the support of multiple network ports and multiple communication links must be created at the same time, obviously, these operating conditions are not available in general Intranet Internet access environments, because most organizations often enable the firewall function in the Broadband Router to protect the security of Intranet Communication, however, firewalls usually only open the most common network ports in the network, and almost all other ports that are not commonly used are in the "blocked" status. In addition, when the Intranet workstation accesses the Internet, generally, it is implemented through the built-in NAT Function of the Broadband Router. Currently, most network games cannot run under the NAT Function of the router. With the above restrictions, the network game server generally cannot communicate with a specific network port in the Intranet workstation, so that the Intranet workstation will naturally not be able to play online games, clever router setting parameters.

Since the Broadband Router has so many restrictions on online games by default, in the Intranet environment where the Broadband Router shares the Internet, is it impossible for us to play online games on workstation? The answer is no, because most broadband routers now support the "special application" function. We only need to set the proper router for this function in the router, so that online games can be played smoothly. This article uses the World of Warcraft game as its operating blueprint to show you how to set working parameters through routers, to enable the network game to work normally in the Intranet environment where the Internet is shared through broadband. Assume that the Broadband Router used by the author's intranet is a swift FR40 router ):

First, find any workstation in the Local intranet, log on to the workstation system as the system administrator, and open the IE browser window in the system, enter the default backend IP address of the Broadband Router in the address bar of the window. This address can be found in the operation manual of the Broadband Router.) Click the Enter key to open the backend logon interface of the Broadband Router, enter the access account and password correctly on the page, and click "OK" to go To the backend Management page of the Broadband Router;

Next, in the left-side list area of the Management page, click the "forwarding rules"/"special applications" option with the mouse, and click "common applications" under the option branch, we will find that this Broadband Router has already integrated several online game applications by default. Select the name of the specific game program that we want to play, click the "fill in" button next to it, so that the Broadband Router can automatically set the port number required by the current online game program, fill in the "open port" and "trigger port" text boxes on the corresponding vro settings page, and click "save" to save the preceding vro setting parameters to the Broadband Router.

Considering that the swift FR40 Router does not add the World of Warcraft game program to the "common applications" list by default, we need to go to the "special applications" option settings page, manually add the World of Warcraft game programs to the frequently used applications list of the Broadband Router. When adding the World of Warcraft game program, first, go to the official website of the game to find parameters such as "trigger protocol", "trigger port", "open protocol", and "Open Port" for the app, these parameters are recorded one by one so that they can be entered on the "special application" option setting page of the Broadband Router. Then, follow the preceding steps, open the "special application" option setting page of the Broadband Router, and click "clear" in the page, then, enter the parameters such as "trigger protocol", "trigger port", "open protocol", and "Open Port" in the corresponding text box one by one, for example, you can enter "9081" in the "trigger port" text box and select "TCP" in the "trigger protocol" list box ", enter "3724", "8086", and "808" in the "open port" text box. 7 "," 9081 "," 9090 "," 9091 "," 9100 ", and" ". Finally, select the" TCP "option in the" open protocol "list box. After confirming that the preceding information is correct, select the "enable" option next to the corresponding record, and then click "save, in this way, the "World of Warcraft" game program will be automatically added to the "common applications" list.
