Application of Dual-ADSL line Enterprise Network Broadband Router

Even if the Broadband Router has only one WAN port, we can add multiple WAN interfaces to it through an alternative wiring method. In this way, we have solved the problem of multi-line access and ensured the access speed. On the other hand, we have avoided buying additional equipment. After all, the home Broadband Router is very easy to find, even if you purchase less than one hundred yuan on the market, it is irrelevant for enterprises. The specific operations of the alternative connection method are described in detail below. First, we select a home Broadband Router, generally, home broadband routers have four LAN Ethernet interfaces and one WAN access interface.

Initial work of alternative connection method

We first connect each device to ensure the establishment of the network topology of the alternative wiring method.

Step 1: Activate the access service for two ADSL lines, and then select two ADSL cats. Of course, the ADSL cat should be offered free of charge by the Telecommunications Department when the line is activated.

Step 2: connect an ADSL telephone line to the ADSL cat and bring out an Ethernet interface connecting the network cable to the home Broadband Router from the ADSL cat. Let's set it to lan4.

Step 3: Connect the other ADSL telephone line to the ADSL cat and bring out an Ethernet interface connecting the network cable to the home Broadband Router from the ADSL cat. Let's set it to lan3.

Step 4: insert the other end of the network cable connecting the WAN interface of the home Broadband Router to an Ethernet interface of the Broadband Router. We can set this interface to lan2.

Step 5: connect the remaining Ethernet interface LAN1 of the home Broadband Router to the switch or employee's computer of the enterprise, thus completing the initial work of the alternative connection method.

Now we have finished the connection. In actual use, our Internet access service has become the binding method for two ADSL lines, the Internet access service provided will be the sum of the bandwidth corresponding to the two ADSL lines. Of course, in terms of settings, we need to specify the Internet access type of the WAN interface as a LAN access method instead of PPPOE dialing.
