When both lines are normal to reduce the flow of a line of traffic pressure, the average distribution of traffic to another line, so as to improve the network speed. When a link fails the interface down, the system will automatically transfer all the traffic to another line forwarding, so as to improve the stability of the network, reliability. Meet the business requirements of the Internet bar can not interrupt this demand to ensure that the hosting business is not affected.

Configuration Guide

This guide takes the 18-22-8 product as an example, and this product has 2 WAN interfaces. ethernet2/0, ethernet3/0 are backed up by each other.

This feature can be implemented through several configuration steps:

1 The configuration of 2 WAN interface is Ethernet link, in this case, the Ethernet direct connection method is used as an example;

2 Configure the static route and set the same priority;

3 Configure Policy Routing to distribute traffic evenly to 2 links.

2 points to note

The two routes have the same priority.

The configuration policy route address is an even walk wan1, the address is odd go wan2.

Policy routes have precedence over the priority level in the routing table. Routes that are configured in a table only work when the interface used by Policy routing appears down.

Networking requirements

Figure 1 is a typical network of 2 link load sharing.

The router Ethernet port is connected to the ISP1, the network address is 142.1.1.0/30, the Ethernet port eth3/0 is connected to the ISP2, the network address is 162.1.1.0/30, and the Ethernet port eth1/0 is connected to the Internet café LAN, eth2/0 Private network IP network address is 192.168.1.0/24.
