1. Download sox

Sox-14.4.1.tar.gz

2. Installing Sox files

1) Unzip TAR-ZXVF sox-14.4.1.tar.gz

2) Enter the sox14.4.1 directory to execute./configure

3) Execute make command

4) Execute the Make install command

The wrong phenomenon:

Sox error while loading shared Libraries:libsox.so.2:cannot open Shared object file:no such file

The cause of the problem: there is libsox.so.2 in/usr/local/lib, but it is not found.

Create a file in the/ETC/LD.SO.CONF.D directory, libso.conf: Join

/usr/local/lib/libsox.so.2.

You can do it with ldconfig.
