Installing via eclipse
Please copy the following update site URL to your clipboard and then follow the steps listed below to add this URL to yourAvailable software sitesList. Attempting to access this URL using your web browser will return an Access Denied error.

- From the Help menu, selectInstall new software... To open the install new software dialog.
- Paste the URL for the update site intoWorkText Box, and hitEnter(OrReturn) Key.
- In the populated table below, check the box next to the name of the plug-in, and then clickNextButton.
- ClickNextButton to go to the license page.
- Choose the option to accept the terms of the license agreement, and click the finish button.
- You may need to restart eclipse to continue.
- Aptana is used for web development. To put it bluntly, it only supports JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. It does not support JSP, ASP, and so on. It has nothing to do with these things. However, you can use it to create HTML or Javascript in Aptana, make full use of the convenience of Aptana, write it almost, copy it to JSP, and then put it in eclipse for editing; or copy the HTML and JS parts of JSP and put them in Aptana for editing.
At the beginning, you can run Aptana independently. Do not run Aptana using Eclipse plug-ins. This is too messy and configuration will affect your development.
Remember, a tool will always be a tool. It can give you some convenience, but it will never replace your thinking. Don't always think about how to use the tool. You need to put your mind into the program itself. Otherwise, it will be done by the end of the day, and the watermelon will be lost after the sesame seeds are picked up.
By the way, Aptana is the best web development tool I have ever seen.
