ArcGIS API for javascript--creating a map

Describe

This example shows a map of ArcGIS server. The ArcGIS server map is cached, meaning it has a set of pre-rendered slices that the server administrator has built to improve performance. For this reason the map is represented by Arcgistiledmapservicelayer.

If the map service does not have an available cache, use Arcgisdynamicmapservicelayer. If you do not know if the map service has a cache available, use Services directory to find it.

Note The Tile Map service layer's constructor contains the service's URL (http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/ESRI_Imagery_World_2D/MapServer), Use Services directory to find the URL of your own map service.
