3. Create a network analysis Layer 3.1. Test the network Dataset

Open ArcMAP, click Add layer, and select the network dataset created in the database connection;

Click Yes to load all related data;

Shows the network dataset,

Open arctools-network analysis tool, select new route, click the second button of network analysis tool to add a site (at least two), and click the fourth button for path analysis;

The example adds three sites. The analysis results are as follows;

3.2 build a network analysis Layer

Open arctoolbox> network analysis tool> Generate path analysis layers. (If you need to analyze the latest facility points and service areas, you can also generate corresponding layers)

Select a network dataset, enter the name of the layer to be generated, and click OK;

The result is as follows: Save it as the. mxd file to publish the service;
