Archivelog related to Oracle archive Mode

Enable archive Mode
> Archive log list;
> Shutdown immediate;
> Startup mount
> Alter database archivelog
> Alter database open;
> Archive log list;


View the archive mode and the archive storage path
> Show parameter recovery;


View the current redo log Group
> Select group #, status, bytes, archived from v $ log;


Manually switch the redo log group and archive it
> Alter system switch logfile;


Now, the switch is displayed.
> Select group #, status, bytes, archived from v $ log;


Modify the path of an archived log
> Alter system set log_archive_dest_1 = 'location =/data/archivelog 'scope = spfile;


Modify the size of the archive directory
> Alter system set DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE = 20g;
Close Archiving

> Alter database noarchivelog
