ArcSDE command, arcsde

1. sdemon (case sensitive)
(1) sdemon is mainly used to manage sde services, including 7 commands. You can enter sdemon-h in the command line to view all sdemon commands.

Status: obtains the status of a specified instance.
Start to start the sde Service
Shutdown the SDE Service
Pause service suspension (connection not accepted)
Resume Restart service (to make the service accessible)
Info: displays information about an instance.
Kill delete all or specified SDE connections
-O operation
-S specified service
-T termination
-P SDE administrator password
-H directory of the ArcSDE instance
-I operation instance
-I information type

Note: When you start the sde service and start the service in windows, you can see the prompt information. If one startup fails, you can start it several more times. Generally, the last step is always unsuccessful during the initial installation. You can use the command to solve the problem.

Note: This function is used to suspend the service. The most obvious indication is that the Server Connection Mode is Paused/Block Connections. In this case, if you use a client to connect to the database, an error is reported with the following message: Faild to connect to database SDE not accepting requing requests. You can use the sdemon-o resume command to restore the connection status.

C: \> sdemon-o resume-p sde

{[-I <service>] [-s <server_name>] | [-H <sde_directory>]} is used to view the number of current server connections, configuration information, and examples. Five parameters indicate viewing different information. The current number of connected users is 2.

Sdeservice-o list [-I <service>] lists all services such as create delete register modify.

This method only exports data from the Oracle database.
