Environment: Win7 64,oracle10g (32-bit), arcsde10.0 (32-bit)

Performance: "Error connecting to oracle:0".

Problem solving

After repeated testing to find the problem: installation path space problem

When WIN7 64 bits, the installation arcsde32 bit cannot be installed in a folder with spaces such as C:\Program files.

However, this problem does not exist when WIN7 32 bits and can be installed in C:\Program files.

Note 1: Some people think that as well as some of the online information, WIN7 64-bit, need to install 64 SDE, the results of many users can not run after installation, error 0xc000007b.

In fact, the SDE version is consistent with the Oracle version, and the Win7 64-bit 32-bit Oracle should be the SDE32 bit.

Note 2:sde Reinstall to another folder, you should remove the Sdehome variable from the environment variable, or you will not be able to change the installation path.
