Arduinoyun Tutorial Configuring the Arduino Yun environment configuration Arduino Yun No matter how you connect the Arduino Yun using the method described earlier, you can now configure your Arduino Yun. The first thing you need is to use the corresponding method to access the interface shown in 3.18.

Click the Configure button in the upper-right corner to enter the configuration interface. The configuration interface is divided into 3 large sections, the Yún board configuration, Wireless parameters, and rest API access, respectively, as described below.
Yún Board configuration (Yun motherboard configurations) Yún Board configuration section is used to configure the Development Board related sections, shown in 3.20.

It is important to note that the name only supports uppercase and lowercase letters, and the others are not supported (including spaces). The password option is to set the password to access the OpenWrt section of the Arduino Yun, which includes access to the configuration interface and the SSH remote connection password that will be introduced. The TIMEZONE option is to set the OpenWrt time domain and set it to your region that might help WiFi connect to the local network, for example set to Asia/chongqing.
Arduinoyun Set Wireless parameters (wireless parameter) This section is used to set the wireless parameters, as shown in the individual item 3.21.

The detected wireless networks option is used to select the wireless network to be accessed. After you click the Refresh link, it will have all detected wireless networks as drop-down list items for you to choose from. After you select a specified wireless network, its name is displayed in the Wireless Name text box, and the encryption is displayed in the Security drop-down list. The password option is used to set the password for this wireless network.
Arduinoyun Sets the rest API access (REST API), which is used to set the rest API's access Method-encryption and openness, as shown in 3.22. The REST API allows you to access your sketch, send commands, and Exchange configuration information over the network.

Figure 3.23 Asking for a passwordArduinoyun Save Settings after all the above project settings are complete, you can apply the settings by clicking the Configure&restart button and restarting the Arduino Yun. Alternatively, click the Discard button to cancel the setting, as shown in 3.24.

After clicking the Configure & Restart button, the Arduino Yun starts rebooting and the new configuration takes effect when the reboot is complete, so you need to use the new password for the corresponding operation.
