ARP: the ARP cache in the management system

• Usage: ARP [options]

• -A: Displays the host name using BSD usage.

• -E: Displays the host name using the Linux usage.

• -D: Deletes the cached record for the IP address and MAC address.

  
  

ARP: The Chinese name is the address Resolution Protocol, which is used to resolve IP addresses in the network to hardware addresses (MAC addresses)

Examples of ARP applications are as follows:

• Check IP address via MAC address:

  #arp The Physical Address-a|grep

  ....... Show content .....

  
  

• To modify the NIC MAC address:

  #arp-S IP address Physical Address

• List all data in the ARP cache:

  #arp-A
