Returns the character that corresponds to the specified ANSI character code.
The CharCode parameter is a number that can identify characters.
Numbers from 0 to 31 represent standard, non-printing ASCII code. For example, CHR (10) returns the line feed character.
The following example uses the CHR function to return the character corresponding to the specified character code:
MyChar = CHR (65) ' returns A.
MyChar = CHR (97) ' Returns a.
MyChar = CHR (62) ' Back to >.
MyChar = Chr (37) ' returns%. Note The ChrB function is used in conjunction with the byte data contained in the string. ChrB is not a character that returns one or two bytes, but a character that always returns a single byte. The CHRW is provided for 32-bit platforms that use Unicode characters. Its argument is a Unicode (wide-character) character code, so you can avoid converting ANSI to Unicode characters.
Example: output 26 letters for j = 0 to 25
Response.Write (Chr (65+J))
