Step 1: Open the iis5.1 Property Form (right-click on the default website-> Properties)
Step 2: Open the Home Directory tab and click Configure
Step 3: click Add.

Note:
1. The ASPnet user access permission may occur during the installation process. In this case, set the ASPNET user in sqlserver 2005 and grant the corresponding permissions.
2. Sometimes select the default website-> properties-> Asp.net tab and change Asp.net to 2.0.
3. the error message "failed to access IIS metadatabase" is displayed. Solution: Click Start, Enter cmd in running, and enter c: \ windows \ microsoft on the console. net \ framework \ v2.0.50727 \ aspn et_regiis.exe-I, and then click "OK.
4. if IIS prompts errors related to the mechanism specific to Asp.net MVC, try the following dll: system. web. MVC. DLL, Microsoft. web. MVC. DLL, system. web. abstractions. DLL and system. web. routing. add the DLL to the bin directory.
