Dynamically creating rating controls cannot save ViewState solutions
Objective:
Rating controls are used to identify ratings and are now widely used. The rating in AJAX Control Toolkit is also quite mature and is one of the most traditional server-side controls asp.net ajax extensions. However, a lot of friends recently complained that if the rating control is created dynamically in the background code, the rating state will be lost (viewstate) after the postback occurs. This article describes two ways to work around this problem.
Problem Recurrence:
If you create a rating control dynamically by following the code, the rating selected value will be lost when you click the button:
<%@ Page language= "C #"%> <%@ Register assembly= "AjaxControlToolkit" namespace= "AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix = "CC1"%> <! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 transitional//en" "Http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd "> <script runat=" Server "> protected void Page_Load (object sender, EventArgs e) {Ajaxcontroltool Kit.
Rating RT = new Rating ();
PAGE.FORM.CONTROLS.ADD (RT);
Rt.id = "likerating"; Rt.
maxrating = 5; Rt.
currentrating = 2; Rt.
Starcssclass = "Ratingstar"; Rt.
Waitingstarcssclass = "Savedratingstar"; Rt.
Filledstarcssclass = "Filledratingstar"; Rt.
Emptystarcssclass = "Emptyratingstar"; } </script>
