Customizing Image Sets for Devices
ADD images to a set of that is customized for display on the devices supported by your app.
The application supports adding images to a custom picture set for display in different device vendors.

In the set list, select an image set.

Open the utilities area for the workspace window by clicking the Show Utilities button (). /p>
Click () to display the Workspace window's tool area (utilities areas).

In the Inspector Bar, click the Attributes Inspector button ().
In the Inspector bar, click the Properties Check button ().

from the device pop-up menu, choose Device Specific.

Use the checkboxes in the Attributes inspector to select the devices.
In the figure above, the image was customized for the IPhone and Apple Watch. The image still needs files for the retina 4-inch IPhone and both resolutions for the IPAD.
The ,image picture collection is defined for iphone and Apple Watch. The photo gallery also requires a Retina 4-inch size iphone file, as well as two resolution files for the ipad.
You need to add device specific images to a set if your app needs to display different sizes of the image on differ ENT devices. For example, a background image for your main view showing a watermark of your logos could need all of the different sizes shown in the above. But an icon for a button this does not vary between devices can use only the universal setting shown in the first figure B Ecause no special sizes is required.
Only when your application needs to display different sizes of pictures on different devices will you need to put the pictures specified by the device into a collection. For example, a background image for the main view, the image of a different size logo watermark can be used to print the image set of the specified special device. If it's just an icon for a button that doesn't change between different devices, you only need to use the universal setting of the diagram, because you don't need a special size.
Customizing your images for devices is one-to-do your app can support multiple screen sizes and orientations. For apps designed-IOS 8 and later, size classes provide a more flexible alternative.
