Adding Image Sets

Organize versions of your images in image sets, which the can add to an asset catalog.

You can organize and manage different versions of images with a picture collection, which can be put into a asset catalog.

2. In the Project Navigator, select an asset catalog.

   In the Project Navigator area (Project navigator), select a asset catalog.

4. Select an image in the Finder, and drag it to the set list in the selected asset catalog.

   Select a picture in the Finder and drag it into the list of collections in asset catalog (set list)---to the left.

   A New image set is automatically created.

   A new set of pictures is created automatically.

   Alternatively, you can create a empty image set by choosing Editor > New Image set or by clicking the Add button (+) I n the toolbar at the bottom of the set list and selecting New Image set.

   Alternatively, you can create a blank picture set (image set) by selecting Editor > New image Set or by clicking (+) at the bottom of the set list and selecting New image set.

6. To add another image to the image set, drag the image from the Finder to the appropriate image, the set viewer.

   To add another image to the collection, simply drag the picture in the Finder into the appropriate picture frame in the View Settings viewer. Such as:

   Alternatively, you can add images by choosing Editor > Import.

   Alternatively, you can add a picture by selecting the Editor > Import method.

Image sets is used to group different resolutions of the same image. This allows one app to the target multiple size classes or to target specific devices and orientations. Picture sets are used to put together different resolution dimensions of the same picture. This allows the application to point to multiple dimension classes or to different specific devices or to different orientations.
