In step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the symbol button in the symbols group, and click the more symbols option.
Step 2nd, open the Symbol dialog box, select the symbol (such as → number) that you want to specify the shortcut key, and click the shortcut button.
In the 3rd step, in the Open Custom Keyboard dialog box, position the cursor in the press new shortcut key edit box. Then hold down the CTRL or ALT key while pressing one or more letters or symbols (such as ctrl+z), and then click the Specify → close button.
Step 4th, return to the Symbol dialog box and continue to set shortcut keys for other symbols. Set Finish click the Cancel button to close the Symbol dialog box.
