In January 17, 2013, as organizations began to focus on accelerating video communication and business processes with video functions, AT&T and Polycom announced a strategic cooperation agreement to create personalized, mobile, and virtualized video conferences.

With AT&T Business Exchange, MPLS, Internet and mobile networks, and the Polycom RealPresence platform, both parties will use this Protocol to create more powerful cloud video communication capabilities, it provides users with more options on the time, place, and method of video collaboration. The Polycom RealPresence platform supports comprehensive video collaboration and supports interoperability with the most extensive applications, devices, and network protocols.

AT&T and Polycom RealPresence platforms-AT&T will include the Polycom RealPresence platform as part of the AT&T Telepresence Solution video infrastructure into AT&T Business Exchange.

Full-hosted service suite-AT&T Telepresence Solution now provides a series of Polycom RealPresence services for users in 40 countries and regions around the world®Video solution-includes integrated multi-functional conference rooms and personal video systems. In this way, users only need to pay a monthly rental fee to enjoy video equipment as part of the hosting service, which helps users reduce capital expenditure and reduce IT resources within the company, this gives users more time to focus on their main businesses.

VPN service-Polycom has selected AT&T as the preferred internal WAN service provider to provide the industry-leading MPLS AT&T VPN service. The network will deliver Polycom videos, voice and data communications, and allow access to AT&T Business Exchange from more than 80 locations around the world including the Polycom customer experience and presentation center.
