Microsoft provides five Atlas sample programs for programmers. However, although there are only five examples in the zone, the total number of pages is as many as 83. It is not easy for no one to instruct them to practice them on their own, the difficulties include (1) understanding of English (2) AJAX asynchronous concepts (3) Master Page concepts and skills (4) Beta edition and other factors, A friend who often reads technical articles in English must be able to understand the basic background knowledge or Sense of the theme. Even if he understands every word and sentence, the steps are clear, but I still don't know what it is about after reading the entire article.
Based on the examples in English, relevant materials, and articles, the actual application of VB.net program code enables readers to experience Atlas Frameowrk.
I. Example description
At present, Microsoft has released five Hands-On Labs for you to practice. First, Let's explain what these five examples are doing. It is quite easy to do after you have a bottom-up mind, description:
(1) Lab 1: Creating a Basic ASP. NET "Atlas" Web Application
Lab1 is the first Atlas Framework example. It aims to demonstrate basic Atlas skills. It uses AJAX asynchronous technology to call the Web Service of the Server by inputting the employee name in the TextBox of WebForm, the Web Service returns the basic data of employees and is automatically updated on the page.
(2) Lab 2: Creating a Declarative Web Application with ASP. NET "Atlas"
Lab2 uses the Atlas declarative syntax to write the Lab1 example. It uses the Client-side Atlas UI Control method to achieve the same functions as lab1.
(3) Lab 3: Creating an Auto-completion TextBox with ASP. NET "Atlas"
Lab3 is mainly used to display the Automatic completion TextBox of the Web. This is a function that many people want. It is achieved through the combination of the Client-side Atlas UI and JavaScript.
(4) Lab 4: Using ASP. NET "Atlas" Auto-completion with a Server Control
Lab4 makes Lab3 automatically complete more advanced simplification. It can achieve automatic completion through the announcement of the Two-line Atlas Server Control, which is more concise and neat than Lab3's Client-side technology.
(5) Lab 5: Creating an "Atlas" Web Aplication Data-binding and Template

2. Create the Atlas Hands-on Lab project
Create a Web project in VS 2005 IDE and select ASP. NET 'Atlas 'hands-On-Lab Web "template, named" AtlasFramework ", and the subsequent five Labs are built in this project.

Iii. Exercise suggestions
If you want to practice the asynchronous technical strength of Atlas Framework, we recommend that you copy and paste the program code in the following scenarios:
· Do not understand how the Master Page works.
· Do not understand JavaScript technology.
· The debugging, intelliisense, and compiler support of VS 2005 are extremely limited. If your program Key-in is prone to incorrect characters, we recommend that you copy and paste the Key-in file because it will be difficult to detect errors.
The above are all obstacles to your experience of the power of the Atlas Framework. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you copy and paste the program code throughout the process. After the program runs successfully, how does one disassemble the program one by one, or re-enter the Key-in on its own, so easy to get started and won't feel too frustrated.
