A romantic legend

This is a touching story. It writes the true feelings of friends, the human nature, and the soul of life. After two dynasties, it does not change, and it is easy to read.

The general idea is that Li Yuan, a rich child, is aware of impermanence because his father died in an accident and vowed not to become an official, not to marry his wife or eat meat, donate your house to Huilin temple and live in it for practice.

In the temple, he holds yuanzawa's Zen masters. He is very good at Temple production and understands music. Li Yuan and he have become good friends and often sit and talk about music, no one knows what they are talking about.

One day, they visited Qingcheng and Emei mountains in Sichuan Province. Li Yuan wanted to take the waterway along the river from Hubei Province, but yueze claimed that Chang 'an oblique Valley would be taken from the land road into the river. Li Yuan does not agree. Yuan ze said with a sigh: "the fate of a person cannot be oneself !"

So I walked along the waterway and went to Nanpu, and the ship leaned on the shore. I saw a woman wearing satin trousers taking water by the river. Yuan ze ran into tears and said to Li Yuan: "I don't want to go to the waterway, I'm afraid to see her! "Li Yuan asked him the reason with surprise. He said," Her surname is Wang. I am destined to be her son. Because I refuse to come, she will not be born after three years of pregnancy, now that you have met, you can no longer escape. Now, please use the spell to help me quickly deliver the food. When taking a bath three days later, please come to the Wang's house to see me. I will give a smile as proof. On Mid-autumn night 13 years later, I will come to meet you outside the Tianzhu temple in Hangzhou ."

On the one hand, Li Yuan regretted his grief. On the other hand, he bathed his clothes and changed his clothes. At dusk, yueze died, and the women who saw the river also produced the clothes.

Three days later, Li Yuan went to see the baby. When the baby saw Li Yuan smile, Li Yuan told Wang that everything was done. Then the Wang family took the money and buried yuan ze under the hill.

Li Yuan no longer had the mind to go to the mountains, and then he returned to Huilin temple. The apprentice in the Temple said that yuze had already written a suicide note.

Thirteen years later, Li Yuan went to yuanze's appointment from Luoyang to the Tianzhu Temple, West Lake, Hangzhou, And suddenly heard the song of the shepherd's horn from the side of GE hongchuan:

I have been the soul of the third party,
The past has long passed;
I am ashamed to let you visit me so far,
Although my body has changed my mind, it has grown.

Li Yuan listened and knew it was an old man. He couldn't help asking:

"Ze Gong, are you okay ?"

The shepherd boy said: "Li Gong is really trustworthy. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with you and cannot be close to you. We only have to work hard to practice and never fall down. We will have a meeting day in the future. "Then I sang another song:

The thing behind me is very slim,
I want to say why I am afraid of sorrow;
I have traveled the mountains and rivers of Wu Yue,
Turn the ship head back to qutang!

The shepherd boy turned around and never knew where he went.

In the next three years, Minister Li Deyu played the emperor and recommended that Li Yuan be the son of zhongchen and he is very filial. Please give him an official post. Therefore, the emperor Feng Li Yuan was a doctor, but at this time, Li Yuan had been thoroughly enlightened and failed to take office. Later, he died in the temple and lived to the age of 80.

Is there a Sansheng stone?

The stories of yuezawa's Zen masters and Li Yuan have been widely spread. Today, a large stone remains outside the Tianzhu temple in the West Lake of Hangzhou, which is said to be the place where they met each other and is called the "Sansheng stone ".

"Sansheng Stone" has always been a famous Chinese stone. It can be comparable to the remaining playstone of nvwa butian. Later, it became the belief of the Chinese people in their lifetime and future generations, not only do many of my friends use Sansheng stone as the basis for courage, but more couples write their vows on Sansheng stone. This is the way they say "yuanshu Sansheng.

As mentioned above, this story is likely to be true, but whether it is true or not, it reflects at least the Chinese people's views on the eternal life and the immortal nature of life. Through this concept of "reincarnation" and "reincarnation", the Chinese people have established profound concepts of ethics, life, and philosophy, and even the whole universe, this is a kind of view and wisdom of Buddhism.

We often say, "seven couples", often say, "It's not just a family of friends." We often say, "We have spent ten years in the same boat, and we have spent a hundred years in sleeping together, always fall in love "...... Even when angry, he gritted his teeth and said, "I will never let you go when I die! "With a red face, I said," I will repay you for being a cool-man in my next life! "When you fail, you will say," what did your predecessors do! "When someone else's husband and wife are lost, they will say," It's really a friend of the past !"

This concept is pervasive in China. When folk women kill chickens and ducks, they will read: "When you become a chicken or duck, I hope you will be the son of a rich man in your next life. "Even when the same person was sentenced to death, he would say," two decades later, it's a good guy !"

Therefore, there should be "sanshenshi.

In fact, reincarnation and reincarnation are the basic concepts of Buddhism. In Buddhism, we think that if there is life, there is death, and if there is lust, there is reincarnation. If there is reason, there is a fruit report. Therefore, it is possible to become a friend after life, it is also possible to be a lover forever. Of course, it is also possible to be an enemy again and again ...... But for the future generation, the eternal life will be bound forever and never be freed. Only by letting go of everything can we go beyond the limitations of reincarnation.

There is a piece of attention in "getting out of the classics", which can point out the essence of life and death cycle:

Even though not all trees are rooted, they are still born again;
Cutting love is endless.
As if they were self-built arrows, they also hurt themselves;

The inarrow is also true. Here, there is no good or evil between love and desire. Although it is hurt to be shot by an arrow of hate, it is also painful to be shot by an arrow of love. Repeated arrows will cause constant injury, the world has evolved.

In addition, there are two sections in yuanjue jing about reincarnation, which are more thorough:

"All sentient beings, from the beginning, from all kinds of love greed, so there is a reincarnation, if all kinds of life in the world, egresses, fetal birth, wet birth, biological, are due to lust and positive life. When we know the reincarnation, love is the root. There are various desires, love, and can survive and survive. For love and life, for life, and for life. Love for the reason, love for the result ."

"All the world, always born and destroyed, whether or not before and after, gathering and stopping, reading and repeating, reciprocating, all kinds of trade-offs are reincarnation. Not out of the cycle, and identify the sense; his sense, that is, the same flow; if the cycle is free, no. For example, you can shake your eyes, and change your eyes to the fire. The cloud will be on the moon, and the boat will be on the bank ."

It can be seen that the reincarnation is not just a human, but the whole world is reincarnation. We can't see the cloud. It doesn't mean the cloud disappears because the cloud leaves our sight. We can't see the moon. It doesn't mean there is no moon, but it runs to the back. Similarly, as our ship moves, the scenery on both sides of the Strait moves, and everything in the world goes like this. A person's life is like sailing, and sailing. The ship (Nature) remains the same, but the shore (body) is changing, and the scenery (experience) is different.

This kind of metaphor for reincarnation is really beautiful.

The scent of celery in the mouth

After talking about reincarnation, I will tell another story. This is my personal experience with the famous poet Huang Shan Gu of Su Dongpo. Huangshan Valley is from Xiushui county, Jiangxi Province. This story is from Xiushui county.

After entering the mishi in Huangshan Valley, he was appointed by the court as the Zhifu of Huangzhou and was 26 years old.

One day, he dreamed that he had walked out of the house and went to a village while taking a nap. He saw a white-haired old lady standing in front of the incense scheme outside the house, there is a bowl of celery noodles on the incense case, and the name of a person is also in the mouth. When the valley of Huangshan went forward, it seemed delicious to see the bowl of hot noodles. unconsciously, they started to eat them. After eating them, they went back to the door and woke up. The smell of celery remained in their mouths. The dream was very clear, but Huangshan Valley thinks it is a dream and does not agree with it.

When I took a nap the next day and dreamed of the same situation, I woke up with the smell of celery, so I felt very strange. So I got up and walked out of the door and followed the path in my dream, she kept walking out of the old lady's house and knocked on the door. She was the old lady she saw in her dream and asked her if she had left the door and shouted for food.

The old lady replied, "Yesterday was the birthdate of my daughter. Because she liked to eat celery noodles during her lifetime, I called her noodles out of the door. I called her this way every year ."

"How long have your daughter been dead ?"

"It has been 26 years ."

Huang Shan Valley thought that she was 26 years old and yesterday was her birthday. So she asked her daughter about her life and who else was there in the house.

The old lady said, "I only have one daughter. She used to like reading books and reading Buddha vegetarian food. She was very filial, but refused to marry. She died of illness when she was 26 years old, when she died, she told me that she would come back to see me again."

"Where is her boudoir? Can I check it? "Asked Huangshan Valley.

The old lady pointed to a room and said, "This is the room. You can check it yourself. I'll pour tea for you ."

When the valley entered the room, I saw a large locked cabinet beside the tables and chairs.

Valley: "What is in it ?"

"It's all my daughter's books ."

"Can I open it ?"

"The key does not know where it is, so it cannot be opened ."

Valley thought for a moment, remember the place where the key was placed, and told the old lady to find out and open the bookcase, and found many documents. He took a closer look and found that all the articles he wrote in each exam were in it, and they had no bad words.

At this moment, Huangshan Valley fully realized that he had returned to his home, and his old mother was his mother, leaving her alone. As a result, Huangshan Valley bowed to the ground, indicating that she was the reincarnation of her daughter, recognized her as a mother, and then returned to the government to bring people to meet her mother, providing for life.

Later, Huangshan Valley planted a group of bamboo in the back garden of the Government, and built a pavilion named "dicui Xuan". There was a stone statue of Huangshan Valley in the Pavilion. His question was like Zhan:

Like a monk, like a vulgar dust;

Dream in the dream, realize the body. He wrote down his feelings for his reincarnation. Later, Yuan Mei, the poet of the Ming Dynasty, wrote the famous sentence "The book is too late to read in this life, it means that a great writer like Huangshan Valley, who has no choice in poetry, calligraphy, and painting, did not start to read books in this life. He has read many books in his past life.

Standing on your own Sansheng stone

Huangshan Valley has realized the truth of reincarnation. in his later years, Shen Chan vegetarian, once wrote a jiejie poem:

I am a meat of all beings, and its name is not special;
The same type of metadata.
Suffering from him, fat for me;
Don't teach you how to break your mind?

The story of Su Shi and Huang Valley is over. Is it very mysterious?

It's not that mysterious. Sometimes we walk in an alley and suddenly see a very familiar person. Sometimes we meet a stranger, but we can't say anything; sometimes a distant dream is clearly seen; sometimes a poem or an ancient saying feels like a friend who has known each other for a long time; sometimes I prefer a color, a floral fragrance, or a sound, but I have no reason ......

Isn't it such an accident in life? No one is standing on his own Sansheng stone, just forgetting his old soul.
