If you are looking for training materials for MapGuide, this is the case. In the past few years, I have provided three days of MapGuide API training every year, but the training materials and sample code are only available to trainees. In order to let more people know about the AIMS/MapGuide API, the training materials will be published in the following blogs for your reference. The following materials are based on AIMS 2012, but most of the content also applies to AIMS 2013,201 4 and MapGuide Open Source.

 

Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server (AIMS) includes the following parts:

Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server is the MapGuide Server corresponding to MapGuide Open Source.
Autodesk Infrastructure Web Server Extension (for application development) is the Web Extension of MapGuide Open Source.
Autodesk Infrastructure Studio (for map authoring)
Autodesk Infrastructure Application Extension (works with Oracle/SQL Server) is unique to AIMS and provides modules for specific industries. Our training materials do not cover this part at the moment.
Autodesk Infrastructure Administrator
Autodesk Infrastructure Mobile Viewer Extension
Autodesk Infrastructure GeoREST Extension

 

The first chapter describes the basic architecture of AIMS/MapGuide and the use of Infrastructure Studio. In addition, you can also view the online help documentation Wikihelp.
