Avaya launches virtualization architecture for mobile Collaboration applications

Avaya announced on July 15, December 07, 2012 that it launched a new communication architecture-Avaya Aura virtualization Environment (Avaya Aura Virtualized Environment, Avaya Aura VE) for Virtualized Unified Communication applications ), to help enterprises accelerate the deployment of mobile Collaboration applications. With Avaya Aura VE, enterprises can maintain Avaya Aura's functions, as well as its highly reliable and simple features, while gaining more options and flexibility, deploy Avaya's Unified Communication and customer service applications in the virtual architecture. Avaya Aura is Avaya's next-generation collaboration platform.

Avaya Aura VE applications meet the requirements of VMware Ready, that is, VMware's highest acceptance standard for virtualization technology. More and more companies choose virtualization to reduce the complexity of IT operations and reduce the required equipment and costs. The next critical phase of virtualization is Unified Communication virtualization. According to Research by Nemertes Research, 70% of companies plan to achieve Unified Communication Application virtualization.

Combining Avaya Aura VE and Avaya's expertise in open mobile collaboration ensures that enterprises still enjoy the same level of reliability, quality, and availability as Avaya's hardware environment. Avaya Aura VE's main performance includes:
