Avoid Win7 theme transitions that cause personalized desktop icons to fail

Tired of the traditional Win7 desktop icons, many friends like to design their own or from the Internet to download some personalized system desktop icons (such as recycling stations, computers, etc.) set to their own Win7 use, but some friends found that their personalized desktop icons are often inexplicably restored to the original. What the hell is going on here?

The original Win7 system provides a lot of cool personalized settings, such as slide theme, so that users can according to their own preferences and mood to replace different wallpapers, sounds, and even icons. If the Win7 system is currently set to "allow themes to change the desktop icon", when we replace the Win7 theme, these personality icons will revert to the original icon of the traditional system.

We just have to find this setting and modify it to "do not allow the theme to modify the desktop icon" status, the personalized icon can be fixed.

The method is very simple, we click the right mouse button in the Win7 system desktop space, select "Personalization". Click "Change Desktop Icon" in the personalization interface.

In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, uncheck the check boxes in front of the Allow themes to change desktop icons, and then click OK.

Now, our Win7 desktop icon settings are fixed, and the current personalization icon settings do not change with the Win7 theme. If you sometimes need to make the theme to modify the matching icon, the same way to enter the settings interface, check this option, OK.
