The following tips will use the four features of Plan B software individually or in combination:
"Anti-delete quick restore", "anti-format quick Restore", "zone Quick Restore", "full scan recovery."
b plan software recovery files in two ways: File system mode and restore by file type
1. Recover deleted files
Either because the SHIFT + DEL permanent error is deleted, or empty the Recycle Bin Delete, or other unknown reason delete
There are several scenarios for recovering deleted files.
In the first case, the file system in which the deleted file is located is NTFS or FAT32 or exFAT, and the "Undelete Quick Restore" feature allows you to find deleted files quickly (fastest in the industry), which supports files in all formats.
In the second case, the file system is NTFS or FAT32 or exFAT, but the deleted file cannot find the deleted file directly from the file system for some reason (such as directory overwrite, damage, etc.), select the Restore by File type option when you use the Undelete Quick Resume feature. This option will find files based on specific file types. This situation supports most file types such as Office documents, audio and video files, photo photos, and so on. It should be noted that most commonly used file types are supported, but not all.
In the third case, the file system is not NTFS, it is not FAT32, it is not a exfat or the device appears "unformatted" under Windows or the first two cases do not find the file. In this case, the Plan B recovery software supports restore by file type. Therefore, the "Full scan recovery" feature is required. This feature has a full depth scan of the storage device, which takes a long time, but is still fast in the industry.
2. Format lost data recovery
Format recovery is divided into several situations.
In the first case, the file system before the format was NTFS or EXFAT or FAT32, and the formatted file system was also NTFS or EXFAT or FAT32 and the partition size of the partitioned location was formatted unchanged. In this case, the "anti-format Quick Restore" feature restores very fast recovery to the file system lookup file before formatting.
In the second case, the file system before and after the format is not NTFS, nor is it FAT32, nor is it exfat. Plan B Recovery software supports "restore by file type". Therefore, the "Full scan recovery" feature is required.

In the third case, NTFS or FAT32 or EXFAT, but the partition size and location changed after the format, using the "Partition Quick Restore" feature.
In the fourth case, both the zone quick recovery and the fast-reformat restore failed to recover quickly.
The full scan recovery feature is used.

3. Partition Loss Recovery
partitions are modified or deleted, partition corruption, partition table corruption, or other unknown cause of partition loss.
In the first case: The missing partition file system is NTFS or FAT32 or exFAT.
Use the "Partition Quick Restore" feature.
In the second case: The missing partition file system is not NTFS, nor is it FAT32, nor is it exfat.
The full scan recovery feature is used.
The third case: various causes of the partition's file system has been corrupted.
Recover by file type using the full scan Restore feature.
4. Data loss for various other reasons
Some other reasons not mentioned above result in data loss. Based on the success rate and time saving principle, we recommend that users use "quick recovery" before using full scan recovery.
