Backup and restore of MySQL

Typically, when maintaining a database, it involves the backup and restore operations of the database

In the MySQL database under Windows, we can use the Mysqldump.exe command to do the backup, the command is as follows

In the bin directory of MySQL, locate the Mysqldump.exe command and execute:

mysqldump-hlocalhost-uroot-p12345 DatabaseName >d:\sqlbackup.sql

In this way, the data you want to back up is backed up below the D drive.

If we want to restore this database, we will first log in to the database with mysql-uroot-p12345 privileged account.

After that, enter the following command:

SOURCE D:\sqlbackup.sql

With the previous backup file, you can restore the database.
