Basename, dirname Shell

Basename is the name left after the directory is removed.
Example: shell> temp =/home/temp/1. Test
Shell> base = 'basename $ temp '(reverse quotation marks)
Shell> echo $ Base
Result: 1. Test
Dirname is the Directory
Example: shell> temp =/home/temp/1. Test
Shell> dir = 'dirname $ temp'
Shell> echo $ dir
Result:/home/temp

Another method:
$ {Var ### */} is to remove the last/and left content of the variable VAR.
$ {Var %/*} is to remove the last/and right content of the variable VAR.

Dirname:
Aguo @ auto-test: ~> A =/home/aguo/insert. SQL
Aguo @ auto-test: ~> Echo $ {A % /*}
/Home/aguo

Basename:
Aguo @ auto-test: ~> A = insert. Test. SQL
Aguo @ auto-test: ~> Echo $ {A % .*}
Insert
Complex
# Retrieve files without paths or.
A =$ {A %. *} & A =$ {A ### */} & Echo $
