1Shortcut keys

Here are some of the shortcuts that are commonly used under Mac OS.

1.1Preview

Most of the files can be previewed, select the file to preview, press the SPACEBAR to make a quick preview, press the SPACEBAR again to close this preview.

1.2Modify file name

Select a file and install the ENTER key to modify the file name.

1.3View file properties

Select the file or directory you want to view (you can select multiple), then press the Command+i key to view it.

Use Command+option+h to hide all applications except the current application.

You can press the option key and then use the mouse to select by column (Block selection). Under Windows, press the ALT key, and then use the mouse to select it.

The cut of the file, there is no clipping function in the Mac, when the file or directory is copied using Command+c, you can cut it using the Command+option+v method.

When multiple files are selected and the Command+i key is pressed, the Properties window for multiple files opens. It would be cumbersome to manually close one by one. You can use COMMAND+OPTION+W to close multiple windows at the same time.

If you want to view property information for multiple files at the same time, you can use Command+option+i to view them, and only a dialog box will pop up.

Remove the app that you downloaded from the App Store, open Launchpad, press option, and then select the app you want to delete.

On the dock, select the app's icon and press the option key, which is equivalent to pressing the right mouse button.

Exit in Browser: Command+q exits the browser, but the last open page is not saved the next time it is opened. If you exit the browser by using the COMMAND+OPTION+Q key combination, the last page is retained the next time you open the browser again.

3Installing and uninstalling Mac applications

To uninstall the application, open the Launchpad and click on the app to uninstall it until it flashes to delete. Or you can either pull it directly into the Trash or uninstall the program. Or you can uninstall using the Uninstaller program that comes with the third-party application.
