1. FAT32 NTFS exFAT
FAT32 FAT32 is one of the Windows system hard disk partition formats. A single file larger than 4GB is not supported. When the partition is wrong, a record is generated, and then the error is remembered, and the location is not used when partitioning;
NTFS NTFS is the abbreviation for the new technology File system, designed for Windows NT to replace fat. You can store a single file of >4GB, but there is no error logging function.
exFAT combines the benefits of FAT32 and NTFS.
2. PC Architecture and Interfaces
2.1 The chipset on the motherboard is divided into two bridges to control the communication of the components, respectively:
(1) North Bridge is responsible for connecting faster CPU memory graphics and other components
(2) The South Bridge is responsible for the slow connection of the peripheral interface, including hard disk, USB, network card, etc.
2.2 CPU FSB, octave, frequency
FSB: The speed at which the CPU and external components perform data transfer/operation.
Octave: is a multiple of the internal CPU used to speed up the performance of the work.
Main frequency: Frequency = FSB * Octave
Overclocking: Increase the frequency of the clock by increasing the FSB, overclocking
2.3 Memory main components dynamic random access memory
SDRAM DDR Ddrii DDRIII
2.4 The motherboard will have a battery, the motherboard has a built-in network card or video card, whether the function is started and the corresponding option parameter settings, are recorded on the CMOS chip
When the computer just started, press Del to enter the BIOS interface, the BIOS is a program, this program is written to die in a memory chip on the motherboard, the chip in the absence of power, the data can be recorded, that ROM
CMOS main function: Record the main parameters on the motherboard, including system time, CPU voltage and frequency, the IO address of each device and IRQ, etc. (these all consume power, so there will be a battery on the motherboard)
BIOS for writing to the motherboard on a piece of Flash or EEPROM program, can be executed at boot time to load parameters on the CMOS, and try to call the boot program in the storage device, can be executed at boot time, further into the operating system.
2.5 VGA (video Graphic Array)
The display of the graphic image, focusing on the resolution and color concentration, each image display color will occupy memory, video card above the capacity of a memory flicker. Video card communicates with CPU and memory via North Bridge
Graphics Specifications PCI---> AGP----> PCIE
2.6 HDD Interface
Hda generally refers to the IDE interface of the hard disk, HDA generally refers to the first hard disk, similar to the HDB,HDC, etc.
SDA generally refers to the SATA interface of the hard disk, SDA generally refers to the first hard disk, similar to SDB,SDC, etc.
2.7 Operation System
The OS itself is a generic software that makes two simulations of the computing power provided by the hardware itself using software
