1.Application of DLA in office buildings

Figure5 showsIRFApplication Cases in an office building group. The entire building group uses four IRFVswitchUnit1 ~ Unit4 communicates with the Internet. Unit1 ~ Unit4 is located in four office buildings. They are connected by optical fiber to form an IRF system. IRF system uses Link1 ~ Link8 is connected to the external network Link1 ~ Link8 is a M bandwidth link ).

Link1 ~ After Link8 aggregation, the entire IRF system can provide highly reliable communication for users in the building. Taking User H1 as an example, under normal circumstances, the rate of data exchange between H1 and the Internet can theoretically reach 800 M. Even if Link1 and Link2 fail, H1 communicates with the Internet through Link3 ~ Link8 forwarding can also obtain a line with a maximum bandwidth of MB. In addition, the communication between H1 and H2 in the network can also be forwarded by the optical fiber between units at high speed.

2. DLA applications in HPC Systems

Shows the application of IRF-DLA in a High Performance cluster computing system HPCHighPerformanceComputer. The HPC System is mainly used to complete large computing tasks. The master node of the cluster divides the task into multiple independent fragments and submits them to each computing node. For high-speed computing, HPC has high requirements on data throughput speed and data exchange system reliability.

The HPC server shown in the figure is connected to the IRF system through two NICs. Two 10g links are connected to X1 and X2 respectively on the master node and backup node, and two 1g link lines are connected to each compute node respectively. When both X1 and X2 work normally, the master node continuously sends computing tasks to each computing node through an aggregation link with a total capacity of 20 GB. At the same time, each computing node submits the results to the master node through a 2G link.

When a 10g link connected to the master node fails or the X1 node fails, although the overall computing performance of the system has declined to a certain extent, the 10g link can basically meet the HPC requirements, will not become the performance bottleneck of the entire computing system.
