Bdi3000 firmware update in Linux

This article takes the hardware platform imx515 as an example to describe the bdi3000 firmware program burning process and steps. imx515 is based on the cotexa8 core and there is no firmware program in the newly purchased bdi3000, therefore, the firmware program can be used normally only after being burned.

1. Compile the program with a burning write Tool
Bdisetup is a tool for bdi3000 firmware burning and parameter configuration in Linux. It can be generated directly by making in the source code.

2. Serial Communication Detection
Connect the PC and bdi3000 and dbi3000 with a serial line, and run the following command to check whether the serial communication works.

This indicates that bdi3000 serial communication is normal, but there is no firmware program.

3. Load/update bdi3000 firmware program
Copy the firmware b30a11gd. 115 to the current directory and update the firmware by running the following command:

4. Configure bdi3000 default parameters
Imx51.cfg is the configuration file located in the directory of the TFTP server.

5. Check the configuration parameters and exit the loading mode.
