BE2014 how to identify hot swapping backup devices without restarting the backup server

1. Open the BE backup software and click "storage ";

 

 

2. Click "configure storage". The "configure storage" dialog box is displayed;

 

 

3. Select "tape storage" and click "next ";

 

 

4. Select "run hot swapping device Wizard" and click "next ";

 

 

5. Pop up the "hot swapping device Wizard" and click "next ";

 

 

6. After the scan is completed and the problem persists, click "next ";

 

 

7. Check for hardware changes. After confirming the changes, click "next ";

 

 

8. Click "finish" to complete the hot swapping device wizard.
