Before and after jailbreak

If you want to use Apple products, you should purchase hardware from Apple and music and video on the iTunes store, when you purchase application software on the App Store, the music, video, and application software that you can access must be reviewed by Apple, whether it is due to copyright issues, ugly interfaces, meaningless functions, or poor security, your work may not pass Apple's review, although dirty water is a little confusing with children, considering that this was an age of information explosion, the network was full of garbage, even if it was a powerful Google search engine, now, the so-called Seo technology is becoming more and more powerful, and it is more difficult to find useful information. Time is precious. We cannot find gold in the garbage dumps every day. At this point, I like Apple's White List practices, at least this guarantees the value of Apple's products.

I used to spend time in Apple's prison, starting from tou44. until the RC5 was green.

However, the firmware version 4.2.1 has never been cracked perfectly until the RC5 version of the Green virus is released.

 

I believe many people know that Apple's iOS is based on the BSD UNIX kernel. All UNIX systems have root accounts, have the highest system permissions, and have full management rights to the file system, apple's iOS uses the mobile app of a common account by default, so we cannot break through Apple's restrictions to access the file system at will. Jailbreak is to give us the root permission. When you understand this, you will know that jailbreak is nothing terrible. In contrast, what's more terrible is that software with low security such as 91 assistant, misuse of root permission to install software, it may affect the system file to change the device to a white apple.

 

During the jailbreak process, I wrote some articles on the Internet and then wrote images and texts. But in fact, I only need to follow the instructions of the green virus, which is no longer simple:

 

1. connect to your computer and press sleep to close the device.

2. Disable iTunes

3. Run the green virus and click "prepare for jailbreak ".

4. wait 3 seconds for preparation. When the green virus reaches the second line, press and hold the sleep key.

6. Wait for 10 seconds. The green virus goes to the fourth line. Put the sleep key first, and press the Home key again.

7. Wait for 15 seconds. Click jailbreak and restart the device.

 

When the device is started for the first time after jailbreak, it should not be able to see the apple startup icon, but the text information of the device startup.

 

What should we do after jailbreak?

 

First, install cydia.

 

Cydia is a software download and Installation tool similar to app store. Apple App Store only allows you to download and install software from official software. After jailbreak, cydia supports the software, you can browse or search for software from other websites and download and install the software.

 

After entering the system, you will see a loader application with a green icon. This is the app installed with the Green poison on our device. Run this app and click and install cydia. After cydia is installed, the loader can be removed. You can click options in the loader running interface and select Remove loader app to delete it.

 

With cydia, you have several options.

 

A. Use cydia to directly install the app

 

Cydia also has an App Store, but there are few apps. For jailbreaking players, buying an app is not the main purpose. cydia is mainly used to browse and find apps that install other source distributions, we can also add sources to cydia by ourselves, such as Weifeng's source (http://app.weiphone.com/cydia), which will publish APPs of varying quantities and can be found and installed by name or category.

 

Cydia's role is similar to the semi-official app store. It supports jailbreak, but does not encourage pirated apps. Although it can be installed, the number of apps is not too large.

 

B. Use installous to install the app

 

Installous is a tool provided by hacker organizations to support pirated applications. It can be found and installed on devices in cydia. Installous is like a pirated app store. You can find many apps on it and provide a cracked Version Download connection.

 

C. use iTunes to install the cracked IPA format application

 

If you have collected a batch of Cracked IPA files, you may use this method to install the app. To install an app on iTunes, You need to verify the identity of the device. Therefore, you must install the IPA cracking patch on the device (which can be found through cydia) before using it to install the cracked IPA ), then, iTunes can install the cracked IPA as needed (of course, by means of synchronization ).

 

From my personal experience, method A is the most convenient, but there are not many apps. Method B has the most apps, but many apps are downloaded through file sharing websites due to piracy, the download link reliability and speed cannot be guaranteed; Method C is slightly clumsy, but it is easy to collect and install apps in batches.

 

By the way, I would like to mention two favorite apps, avplayer and ifile.

 

In terms of security, iTunes does not allow us to directly access the file system of the device, nor can we upload audio and video files that it does not support to the device. We also need the support of connection lines, as a free man who has escaped from jail, these conditions are sufficient for us to stay away from iTunes. Install an ifile, enable WiFi transmission, and the device becomes a WiFi Web server. Based on the URL displayed by ifile, you can access the file system of the device through a browser on the computer and upload files, you can leave the cable and iTunes alone.
