1. The ADSL filter is best connected to the entry of the telecommunication bus.
If you have installed a telephone extension or other equipment such as a fax machine on your ADSL line, you need to take full advantage of the filter attached to the ADSL Modem. The ADSL filter splitter is best connected to the telecom bus import, and then expands the telephone extension from the telephone port separated by the splitter, if it is imported to the bus, it is also the Telecommunications Bureau) and the separator is incorporated into other electronic devices), these devices will interfere with the communication of ADSL. Because ADSL has high requirements on the line quality, this may affect the normal operation of ADSL. Therefore, the extension is usually installed after the separator line.
2. Handling of frequent disconnections
If you find frequent ADSL disconnection and slow synchronization during installation and usage, this is a very troublesome task. It may involve many problems, including ISP access server faults, line faults, line interference, ADSL Modem fault fever, poor quality, and poor compatibility) slow Nic speed, old driver) fault, etc. Before looking for an expert from the Telecommunications Bureau to solve the problem, I suggest you first check whether the ADSL telephone line is secure and the ADSL is far from the power cord and high-power electronic equipment; no telephone extension, fax machine, or other equipment is installed between the ADSL line and the separator. The separator is correctly installed to ensure sound heat dissipation of the adsl modem. If the above operations still fail to solve the problem, you have to call or go to the Telecommunications Bureau to ask.
3. ADSL cannot be synchronized
During use, if ADSL suddenly fails to be synchronized, there may be the following reasons:
1) if the external line is not properly connected, check whether your telephone line is in poor contact with the ADSL connection, or the telephone line is faulty.
2) If the user side splitter is bad or the ADSL Modem is bad, you can try to disconnect the splitter and directly connect the external line to the ADSL Modem. However, this will have an impact on the quality and speed of the internet, so I do not recommend this. If it is determined that it is a filter problem, you should call the Telecommunications Board for repair or replacement.
3) if there is a problem with the main telephone lines of China Telecom, we cannot handle this. Please wait.
4) the connection between the splitter and the ADSL Modem is too long. The speed and stability of the ADSL Internet connection are closely related to the line quality. Therefore, it is recommended that the line be too long. If it is too long, synchronization is very difficult.
4. The password cannot be verified.
Synchronization and connection are all normal, but sometimes the password cannot be verified. At this time, we have to patiently analyze:
1) Pay attention to account and password to be case sensitive, now the ADSL account in Guangzhou is like this: gzDSLxxx@163.gd, DSL must be in upper case.
2) problems with the virtual dialing software. We do not rule out that virtual dial-up software may sometimes be faulty, or conflict with some software in your operating system. At this time, you 'd better reinstall the dial-up software or try another software.
3) NIC Driver problems. If there is a problem with the network card, it will also cause a wrong password verification, but this probability is relatively small, as long as you have installed the network card, it is generally not a problem.
4) overdue payment. If the payment is overdue, the only solution is to pay the fee to the telecommunications department.
