Belit: Cooperation with Nokia is not seeking immediate results

At the end of last month, Intel and Nokia jointly announced that they would establish a long-term partnership to jointly develop intel-based new mobile computing devices and chipset architectures, in this way, the powerful performance and high-bandwidth mobile broadband communication of computers are combined with ubiquitous Internet access to further integrate the Internet with mobile phones and computers.

Intel will obtain Nokia's HSPA/3G modem technology license to develop advanced mobile computing solutions to provide users with a powerful and flexible computing experience, integrates the best 3GPP modem technology in the industry into a high-performance, low-energy intel-based future platform. Although neither party disclosed the details of the cooperation, the "powerful performance computing solution" referred to should refer to its atom platform, this also means that Intel will be able to put Nokia's baseband technology into its next generation atom Soc.

Intel and Nokia have worked together on a number of open-source mobile Linux software projects targeting moblin and maemo platform projects, this will bring a Linux-based operating system for future mobile computing devices.

But the most important thing is that intel and Nokia may make "a product that can surpass current mobile phones, laptops, and netbook ". For intel, this means that x86 can be brought into the mobile phone market, which has been the world of arm processors for many years.
