Beta Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" KDE System released
GuideThe Beta Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" KDE operating system is available for download today. Based on the latest Kubuntu/Ubuntu technology, this means that the release is based on the long-supported Linux 4.4 kernel and uses the KDE Applications 15.12.3 software package based on the KDE Plasma 5.6.5 desktop environment.

On Linux Mint 18, it is equipped with the following components: doldolphin, Kontact, digiKam, Gwenview, Skanlite, KTorrent, KMail, Konversation, Amarok, K3b, Konsole, Ark, Kate, well-known KDE applications such as Okular and Dragon Player also use Mozilla Firefox and LibreOffice as the default web browser and office suite.
