Beyond Compare 4 Text comparison search function use method

Open the Beyond Compare software, select a text comparison session, open the session operator interface, click the Browse for File button, and select the text file you want to compare. Click the Toolbar Search button to select from the expanded menu, the next Difference section, or the previous diff section to help you quickly find all the difference files and display the specific line numbers for the difference text in the status bar.

By switching back and forth between the next difference section and the previous Difference section, you can help you advance or go back to a series of rows and differences. The arrow icon for the current (top) One difference section is disabled or the color changes from bright yellow to dark yellow, indicating no difference in this line.

Beyond Compare software text comparisons support custom variance option settings to suit your preferences for viewing text differences. Click the Tools button, select the Options tab in the expanded menu, switch to the next diff table of Contents, and in the next Difference column, select the diff section Display check box, choose multiple selections, and then click the Apply button to complete the setup.

When you load a new file, go to the first difference: when you open a new text file, the first difference is marked.

Go to the next difference in the file after copying to the other side: After the current item is copied to the other side, the next variance item for the comparison text is marked.

Limit the next differential file to the current folder: When you perform a search for the next differential section command, only searches and tags in the same parent folder as the file.

Around the first difference: The mark position stays at the end of the first difference comparison.

Display message panel: When a difference is not found, cannot be marked, the message panel does not have content hints.

In addition, in the expanded Search menu, you can also choose to perform a "next difference" or "last difference" action that shows a detail difference in a row that contains multiple differences.
