[BI project]-New Task creation and bi new task
Zookeeper

The previous article describes how to handle a Bug. This article mainly describes how to create a work item for a new requirement using TFS.

It is assumed that there is a new requirement and five reports need to be created.

The development process is as follows:

The process is summarized as follows:

  • Create a Task in TFS to upload the required documents.
  • Then develop and check the corresponding code, design and development documents, and prepare the release documents.
  • In the test phase, check the UAT document.
  • Go live.

Then, pay attention to the relevant documents in this process.

Next, create the Task. On the TFS homepage, click Task to create a Task.

Similar to a Bug, enter basic information about the new Task. It is strongly recommended that you do not ignore every piece of information in the project. For the project, it is important to document a lot of information about this requirement.

Click the attachment to upload the task-related documents. In the task creation stage, according to the previous definition, we need to upload the requirement document.

Click Browse and select a file.

Select the requirement document.

You can see that the document has been created.

Close the TFS web page, open it again, and click Work to re-open the task you just created.

Place the task status In Progress, and you can see that the corresponding changes have occurred on the History end. The current status of this task can be easily tracked here.

Now, the new task has been created, and the next article will continue to demonstrate how to deal with this new task.
