Binary Direct (binary number format)

Starting with PHP5.4, we can write binary direct quantities directly in the code. This is especially handy when defining some sign bits.

Look at the following example:

$bin = 0b1101;
Echo $bin;

13
In the past, we had to use Bin2dec to represent the string, which was a bit unpleasant.

In addition, PHP5.4 also adds a hex2bin can convert a hexadecimal-represented string into a binary stream, which we used to do with the pack.

<?php
$hex = "ff0f";
Var_dump (Hex2bin ($hex) = = Pack ("h*", $hex));

BOOL (TRUE);
However, it is also a reminder that PHP 5.4 is still in the development phase and that any new features may be adjusted or changed before the final release. If you have any suggestions, also welcome feedback to help us make PHP better.
